Quantum is looking for an organized and motivated Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. This entry-level position is the perfect opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to gain hands-on experience in engineering, project coordination, and industrial control systems.
Working alongside experienced engineers and project managers, you'll help deliver automation projects that support water and wastewater facilities, industrial manufacturers, and other critical infrastructure. You'll gain exposure to every stage of a project—from planning and procurement to engineering, commissioning, and client support—while developing the technical and project management skills needed for long-term success.

Or a related technical field
Skills & Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with engineers, project managers, vendors, and clients
Interest in industrial automation, control systems, engineering, or project management
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites and project locations
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PLCs, HMIs, or SCADA systems
AutoCAD or engineering documentation
